Chipotle’s Copycat Guacamole

Chipotle is famous for its thick, rich and creamy guac that never fails to bowl people over. This copycat recipe of Guacamole is inspired from Chipotle Mexican Restaurant. So now you can enjoy your homemade guac as much as you do Chipotle’s! 😉😃

Chipotle's Copycat Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 1. 2 ripe Hass Avocados
  • 2. 2 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 3. 2 tbsp Cilantro (chopped)
  • 4. 1/4 cup Red Onion (diced)
  • 5. 1/2 Jalapeño including seeds (diced)
  • 6. 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

Cut the ripe Hass avocados in half and remove pits carefully. Scoop the avocados into a bowl.

Add lime juice, cilantro, red onions and jalapeño and mix it well.

Add the salt and mash until a smooth and creamy consistency is achieved.

Your restaurant style Guacamole is now ready! Serve fresh or chilled. Enjoy!

Notes

1) Add a layer of lime juice on top of the Guac to prevent browning.
2) For best results, pick avocados that are firm to the touch yet slightly yielding. Never the soft ones as they are usually brown in spots.
3) Guacamoles taste best when consumed right away. If you like your's refrigerated, be sure to cover it well and use it within an hour.
