Guacamole (Chipotle Style)

Here’s the recipe to make the BEST Guacamole (Chipotle Style)! With just a handful of simple ingredients, this fresh, creamy, spicy guacamole recipe is sure to be a hit every time! You can make this Mexican Avocado Salad smooth or chunky depending on your tastes. I like to keep a combined texture in mine, just the way they serve in Chipotle! 🙂

Ingredients

  • 1. 3 Avocados, roughly mashed
  • 2. 1 Lime, juiced
  • 3. Salt to taste
  • 4. 1/2 cup Red Onion, diced
  • 5. 3 tbsp Fresh Cilantro, chopped
  • 6. 1 Roma Tomato, pitted, drained and diced
  • 7. 1 tsp Garlic, minced
  • 8. 1 tsp Jalapeno Pepper, minced (optional)

Instructions

In a medium bowl, mash together the avocados, lime juice, and salt.

Mix in onion, cilantro, tomatoes, and garlic.

Stir in jalapeno peppers.

Serve immediately with your favorite side of chips or crispy veggies!

Notes

Tips:
1) Add a layer of lime juice on top of the Guac to prevent browning.
2) For best results, pick avocados that are firm to the touch yet slightly yielding. Never the soft ones as they are usually brown in spots.
3) Guacamoles taste best when consumed right away. If you like your's refrigerated, be sure to cover it well and use it within an hour.
