Easy Banana Churro Bites

What could be better than a dessert that is ready in less than 10 minutes and tastes heavenly with simple ingredients already available at home?? These super easy Banana Churro Bites are just the dessert you are looking for when you or your kids are craving sweet treats, any time of the day! In this recipe, I am using clarified butter (ghee) for its amazing flavors, while frying the bananas golden brown. If you want a vegan dessert, just use coconut oil instead! Enjoy this mouth-watering dessert on its own. Or if you like, pair it with (vegan) Vanilla Ice Cream to take the experience to the next level!Β πŸ˜‹πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜

Ingredients

  • 1. 2 Ripe Bananas, peeled & sliced round
  • 2. 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 3. 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder (or) Cinnamon Powder
  • 4. 2 tbsp Clarified Butter (Ghee) or Coconut Oil

Instructions

1

Combine the sugar and cardamom/ cinnamon together. Mix well and keep aside.

2

To a pan over medium heat, add the clarified butter (ghee) and let it heat up. Once hot, add the banana slices and stir well. Let the bananas caramelize and fry to a golden-brown color, stirring them occasionally. Add more ghee if the bananas begin to stick to the pan. (In this step, Vegans can make use of coconut oil instead).

3

Once the bananas are done, sprinkle and coat the bananas evenly with the prepared sugar mixture. Mix well and transfer to a serving bowl.

Your delicious Banana Churro Bites are ready to serve and enjoy! πŸ™‚

Notes

Vegans can make use of coconut oil instead of clarified butter. The Banana Churro Bites taste just as great!
Cardamom is a spice very commonly used in desserts in many countries. Try it for a fresh, new twist. You won't be disappointed! πŸ™‚
