Bread Bajji (Crunchy Bread Fritters or Bread Pakoda)

Bread Bajji (Crunchy Bread Fritters or Bread Pakoda) is an extremely popular evening snack in all parts of India. It is very simple, quick to prepare and tastes so well that it is absolutely loved by all alike! It is made using chickpea flour (or besan) and bread as the major ingredients, providing a good balance of proteins and carbs in a single snack. Some people sandwich the bread pieces with a potato filling. But I like to keep it simple yet yum! Pair this delectable snack with some ketchup or mint chutney and hot masala chai (spiced tea) for a complete tea-time indulgence! πŸ™‚

Ajwain (carom seeds) and ginger not only enhance the taste and flavor, but help in digestion as well!
